Holocaust Survivor Shares First Hand Testimony Via Zoom with Berger Schatz Attorneys

In a moving account, Holocaust survivor Sidney Finkel shared with Berger Schatz attorneys his story of survival, hope and overcoming hate and prejudice in all forms.

Sidney, father of Berger Schatz attorney Leon I. Finkel, brought firm attorneys together to recall the trials and tribulations he endured during the Holocaust.

Now more than ever, Berger Schatz understands the importance of keeping firm members connected. Despite the challenges 2020 has presented, the firm continues to strive to keep attorneys and staff in touch during the COVID-19 pandemic, a situation that could otherwise lead to disconnect.

Sidney’s memoir, Sevek and the Holocaust: The Boy Who Refused to Die, has been used as a text in junior high schools, high schools and undergraduate and graduate programs around the country. He recently presented a virtual CLE program “The Einsatzgruppen Trial: The Biggest Murder Trial in History,” which Leon organized. Learn more about Sidney here.
