The Illinois State Bar Association has presented The Board of Governors Award to David H. Levy, in recognition and appreciation of his service and contribution to the Association and the Bar of Illinois. David was instrumental in the drafting of both the new IMDMA effective 1/1/2016 and the “trailer” bill (also known as the “clean-up bill” to the new IMDMA,) that is awaiting the Governor’s signature. David has served on the council repeatedly over the course of 23 years, and has also served as chair of the council. He has been reappointed to the family law section council of the ISBA for the 2016-17 term.
