David H. Levy receives 2014 Samuel S. Berger Award

Berger Schatz warmly congratulates partner David H. Levy, who has been selected by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Foundation as this year’s recipient of the prestigious Samuel S. Berger Award.

The Samuel Berger Award is given in honor of the late Judge Samuel S. Berger. The award is given to attorneys and judges who, like Judge Berger, exemplify the highest standards of integrity, courtesy, knowledge of family law and have demonstrated an extraordinary ability to solve human problems.

David has practiced matrimonial law for over 30 years and is one of Berger Schatz’s founding partners. In addition to his vast experience representing clients, he has a remarkable record of professional and community leadership, including multiple chairmanships and executive roles with the Illinois Bar Association and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, as well as appointments to special task forces on legislative reform for the State of Illinois and the Circuit Court of Cook County.
