Clients and esteemed leaders in the legal community nominated Brian for the award, lauding him for his exceptional counsel in complex divorce and family law issues. Recognized for his discretion with high-profile clients, including leaders in business, finance, entertainment. and sports, and their spouses, Brian was also praised for his compassion and understanding in difficult situations.
A philanthropist and consummate volunteer, Brian is active in a variety of charitable organizations. He recently launched the firm’s popular Big Brothers Big Sisters program, pairing attorneys with teens in the community.
Criteria for selection, in this first-ever award category for Crain’s, included:

- Being a role model or mentor to other attorneys
- Holding a leadership position in the industry outside of the candidate’s own organization or company, including professional organizations and community service initiatives
