Sami Pakshir is skilled at the negotiation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution aspects of family law cases.
AREAS OF FOCUS
Sami has exclusively practiced family law with Berger Schatz since passing the Bar in 2017. Her experience includes cases with high net worth families involving prominent figures in business and the entertainment industry, contested custody/allocation of parental responsibility matters, international jurisdiction issues, and the valuation of business and business interests. In her practice, she is dedicated to maintaining compassion for her clients and the integrity of the process.
While in law school, Sami held a judicial externship with the Honorable Judge Raul Vega in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She also served as Associate Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review, worked as a teaching assistant in Legal Writing, and participated in the University of Illinois Family Advocacy Clinic.
