Kathleen M. McNamara focuses exclusively in the area of family law. Her extensive litigation experience enables her to assist clients in navigating some of the most challenging and important issues in their lives.
Kathleen has extensive experience representing clients in high-conflict custody disputes and disputes involving child support, spousal maintenance, and the valuation and division of complex assets.
Kathleen began practicing law in 2002 and spent the first six years of her career at Sidley Austin LLP, where she represented corporations, and their directors and officers, in securities-related litigation. Kathleen also spent a year as law clerk for the Honorable Harry D. Leinenweber of the Northern District of Illinois. During law school, Kathleen served as Associate Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review.
Kathleen is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association.
