Prior to joining Berger Schatz as a full-time Associate, Hannah Wiese served as one of our summer Associates and Law Clerks. She continued her clerkship with us until her graduation from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Hannah has exclusively practiced family law since she was admitted to the Bar in 2024.
Hannah graduated on the Dean’s Honor List from Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, Hannah served as Vice President of CK-Lambdas, an organization focused on promoting LGBTQ+ legal advocacy and networking opportunities for students. Hannah also participated in the Moot Court program at Chicago-Kent College of Law and finished as a semi-finalist in the 2022 ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition (NAAC).
Prior to joining Berger Schatz, Hannah worked with domestic violence survivors by helping them obtain Orders of Protection at the Domestic Violence Courthouse in Chicago. Additionally, Hannah worked extensively in complex parentage matters while she interned for a Guardian ad Litem. She has a strong interest and focus in advocacy and litigation. During her clerkship and as a new Associate, Hannah works on cases specializing in complex financial and parentage matters and appreciates the personal nature of each issue that Family Law brings.
